Kilwins Quality Confections, Inc. of Petoskey, MI Recalls Kilwins Sugar Free (S/F) Peanut Butter Fudge Because of Potential Health Risk

Kilwins is recalling all 7 ounce packages of S/F PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE sold in our retail stores between October 1, 2011 and October 5, 2012 because the peanut butter ingredient used to make the product is associated with the Sunland, Inc. recall and has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The recalled sugar free peanut butter fudge packages were sold in Kilwins retail stores located in Colorado and 18 other states.

The product comes in either a light beige box with a small window area, or a black and white box with a small window area and a yellow sticker across the top corner that states "Sugar-Free". The lot code can be found on the box label, just to the left of the bar code.

For a list of bar and lot codes visit the FDA website.
